George Miklosi: Server Again

Still having issues connecting to Sero. Simply sits there and clicks away. This is happening on computers. This is only the 2nd time today I was able to connect. This has been going on for several days. I noticed there have been others in the same time frame experiencing the same issue among other problems. Once I go back to the system access desktop it might be hours before I can connect again.

Hi George,

Is this happening on more than one computer? Also, have you tried rebooting the affected machines?

Can yu tell me if the System Access server is running in your system tray? If it isn't, please try starting it by going to the System Access menu, to preferences, then to option 7, Manage Home Server. If that dialog reports that the server isn't running, choose the option to start it. Then, go into the home server preferences and check the box to allow your computer to be remote controlled.

Once the server is running, try accessing Sero again.

I need to know if the home server was not running.

Hi Shawn, The answer is yes to all of your questions is YES. Just my luck it is now working fine....hi....hi....

All day today and most of yesterday was an issue. Right now things are fine. If the issue returns I will make you aware of it.

Thanks for the responses. As far as I can tell this has been an intermittent problem, and we've yet to determine what's causing it.
