SAMNet Media Player

When you'd like to listen to audio from your media library, a movie or streaming radio station from the SAMNet entertainment section, or any other audio from a site you open in the SAMNet browser, you'll be using the sAMNet media player. The media player will launch automatically when you press enter on a link containing media for it to play. When the player is launched, there's no need to find the play button, as the content will begin playing automatically.

Here are a few keyboard commands which allow you to control the SAMNet Media Player.
Control+P will pause playback, or if playback is paused, will resume playback.
Control+S will stop playback. Note, Media Player closes immediately after the stop command is issued.
Use the left arrow key to move to the previous track, and the right arrow key to move to the next track.
Use the up arrow key to increase the volume, and the down arrow key to decrease the volume.
Note that only the volume of the media will change. Your speech volume and the volume of your system sounds will be unchanged.

You can use the following commands to move around in an audio file on your computer or an audio program being streamed on-demand from the Internet. Note that these commands don't work for live streams, since there is no way to move forward in a live stream because the content isn't yet available.

Control+left arrow: Move 6 seconds back.
Control+right arrow: Move 6 seconds forward.
Control+up arrow: Move one minute back.
Control+down arrow: Move one minute forward.
Page up: Move 10 minutes back.
Page down: Move 10 minutes forward.

Presets

While you are playing audio from an online radio station, or other source, you may want to save the stream as a preset. Presets allow you to quickly play an audio stream without needing to search for it from a list. While audio is playing, just tab to the "Add to presets" link, press the enter key, and the audio stream will be added to the presets list. A window will pop up confirming that a preset has been added to the presets list. Just press escape to close it, and you will be returned to the media player window.

When you want to play one of your presets, simply navigate to the entertainment guide and select presets from the list. Choose the preset you'd like to hear from your presets list, press enter, and the media player will launch and begin playing the stream you've selected.
