SAMNet offers a built-in spell checker that can be used anywhere you can edit text, including email messages, text notes, and forms on web sites.
Activate the spell checker by pressing "F7." A message is spoken, "Drop the boxes below down to choose a suggested replacement, keep your original, or choose "--Manually Fix--" and then "Check Again" if none of the suggestions fit what you intended. A text box appears if no suggestions were found. Retype the word, and try again."
A dropdown box will be displayed for each mis-spelled word. The first mis-spelled word will be spoken. Press "Alt+DownArrow" to choose from a list of suggestions to correct the word in question. If you hear the correct choice, tab once to the next dropdown, and press "Alt+DownArrow" to find its replacement. Continue this process until all mis-spelled words have been corrected. If you don't hear a suitable replacement for the mis-spelled word, choose the correct manually option. When no other mis-spelled words are detected, tab to the "Finish Checking" button to update the document with your corrections, and return you to the text you are editing.
