2 Corinthians Chapter 4

Dear LORD,
Reading Your Word today was a reminder that, no matter how lousy I may feel physically or mentally, my spirit continues to live through You by the Holy Spirit who dwells in me, as You state here:

2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

My outward man, my body, definitely perishes, my body is not as it was a quarter of a century ago. Yet You, LORD, do renew my inward man day after day after day, despite all the struggles I have to go through. Ah, and here You remind me of the eternal perspective, here You talk to me about these daily struggles of mine, of what they really are:

2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Thank you, God, for Your Word.
Your servant,
Zoraida
